Biography

Mid-season transfer from Oklahoma State who will step in and immediately compete for the starting job at 125 pounds.
 
OSU:  Was a two-time letterman for the Cowboys and wrestled unattached in three tournaments during the first semester, winning the Oklahoma City Open, finishing runner-up at the Fort Hays State Open and taking third at the Reno Tournament of Champions . . . Redshirted during his first season in 2013-14, winning the Fort Hays State Open and placing in three other tournaments as an unattached entry . . . Missed the 2014-15 season to injury . . . Compiled a 15-8 record with five bonus-point wins in 2015-16, going 1-2 against ranked opponents . . . Placed in three tournaments, including a runner-up finish at the OCU Open . . . Competed in three events for the Cowboys last season, finishing 10-4 with five bonus-point wins . . . Was runner-up in both the Reno Tournament of Champions and the Outlaw Open.
 
High School:  Prep standout at Miami High School, finishing with a 135-14 career record . . . Three-time state finalist, finishing second as a sophomore and junior before winning the title during his final year . . . An All-State selection and the Jim Thorpe Wrestler of the Year winner as a senior . . . Two-time Junior Nationals All-American.
