Biography

Senior star and returning All-American ready to finish with a flourish . . . Had dominating junior season at heavyweight and is determined to end career with a national championship . . . Great anchor at the end of UCO lineup and will score plenty of points with his aggressive style . . . Spent one year each at two different junior colleges before coming to the Bronchos.

2016-17:  Finished with impressive 33-5 record that included 16 bonus-point wins . . . Had nine technical falls -- the second-most in UCO’s storied history -- while adding five falls and two major decisions . . . Won the team’s lone individual title at the NCAA Division II West Regional in earning national tournament berth and finished seventh there to earn All-America accolades . . . Was ranked No. 1 going into the national meet, but was upset in the first round . . . Bounced back with two wins before losing again in consolation quarterfinals and ended tournament with 12-9 victory in the seventh-place match . . . Captured gold medal in five other tournaments besides the regional, taking titles in the Oklahoma City Open, Fort Hays State Open, Jet Invitational and MIAA Championships . . . Also had runner-up finishes in the Oklahoma Open and Lindenwood Open . . . Had winning streaks of 10, nine and eight straight during the season.

2015-16:  Wrestled at both 197 and heavyweight during redshirt season in the 2015-16, going 8-2 . . . Was runner-up in the OCU Open tournament at 197 and third at the Lindenwood Open at 285. 

JUCO:  Went 3-2 in limited action as a freshman at Northwest Wyoming and then transferred to Northeastern Oklahoma A&M . . . Had 20-7 record and earned All-America honors with seventh-place national finish in helping the Norsemen take the team title.

High School:  Three-year standout at Sapulpa High School, finishing with a 123-12 career record . . . Placed third in state meet as sophomore, took second the following season and then went perfect 34-0 in winning state championship as a senior . . . Also an All-State honoree.

Personal:  Industrial safety major . . . Enjoys hunting and fishing as hobbies . . . Names the Philadelphia Eagles as his favorite professional team . . . Birthdate is Oct. 26, 1993.
