Biography

Junior college transfer expected to see action in a relief role on the mound this season . . . Hard-throwing right-hander with an excellent change-up capable of making a big impact.

Juco:  Played two years at Butler County (Kan.) Community College . . . Helped lead the Grizzlies to a 38-21 record and the Jayhawk Conference West title last year, going 3-2 and striking out 28 in 34 2/3 innings.

High School:  Prep standout at East High School in Plano, Texas.

Personal:  An education major . . . Birthdate is Nov. 21, 1989.
