Senior star and a prime candidate for the Harlon Hill Trophy that goes to the NCAA Division II Player of the Year . . . Superb athlete who makes great decisions on the field and a true team leader primed for a huge season . . .Has all the physical tools needed to excel and a student of the game always looking to improve . . . Excellent touch passer who can also throw the longball and nimble enough to scramble out of trouble . . . Was named Lone Star Conference Preseason Offensive Player of the Year and should contend for a variety of post-season honors.

2004:  Came off the bench the first two games before taking over the starting role and passed for 2,556 yards, the second-best season in school history . . . Completed 63.5 percent of his passes, tying a single-season school record with 207 completions in 326 attempts, and tossed 16 touchdowns with just nine interceptions . . . Was one of seven nominees from the Southwest Region for the Harlon Hill Trophy . . . Earned second-team All-Lone Star Conference North Division honors behind a senior first-team All-American . . . Was 18-of-27 for 277 yards and four TDs the first two games, then hit 24-of-32 for 295 yards and two scores in first start against West Texas A&M . . . Became the first player in UCO's 99-year history to throw for 300-plus yards in three straight games, with all three performances ranking among UCO's top 10 single-game outings . . . Threw for 327 yards (sixth) against Angelo State, followed with 338 yards (fifth) vs.Tarleton State and ended the streak with a 300-yard outing (10th) against Southwestern Oklahoma . . . Passed for 220-plus yards in all eight starts .. . Opened UCO career by throwing 85 passes without an interception . . .Had the third-best total offense season in school history (2,541 yards) . . . Two-time LSC North Offensive Player of the Week pick.

Juco:  Threw for 4,056 yards and 32 TDs during stellar two-year career at Trinity Valley Community College . . . Was 103-of-185 for 2,007 yards and 15 TDs as a freshman in 2003 in earning first-team All-Conference honors and hit 130-of-263 aerials for 2,049 yards and 17 scores as a sophomore.

High School:  Baseball-football standout at The Colony High School . . .Two-time All-District pick and honorable mention All-Stater on the gridiron. . . Second-team All-District selection on the diamond.
