Returning starter coming off a solid season who is ready to end his career with a flourish . . . National qualifier at 174 pounds last year, but is set to move to 184 in 2006-07 and will be a prime All-America candidate . . . Was a consistent force for the Bronchos and showed what he’s capable of last year before suffering through a disappointing national tournament and is determined to atone for that this season . . . Dedicated team leader with great conditioning who is always on the attack.

2005-06: Enjoyed a stellar season, winning a team-high 36 matches in finishing 36-10 . . . Led the Bronchos with 14 bonus-point wins, including eight major decisions, and had a pair of 10-match winning streaks . . . Dominated in winning the Midwest Regional with three straight bonus-point wins, including a 19-4 technical fall finals rout of eventual national runner-up Mike Jackson of Indianapolis . . . Opened the national tournament with a 2-0 victory before being eliminated with two straight one-point losses . . . Placed third at the Central Missouri State Open and was fourth in two other tournaments.

2004-05: Went 16-11 while seeing action throughout the season, most of that at 174 . . . Was 12-4 at 174 in two tournaments and four duals and also wrestled 11 duals at 184 (4-3) and 197 (0-4) after weighing in at 174 . . . Two of those losses at 197 were to defending national champion Jeff Sylvester . . . Went 5-1 in one-point matches.

2003-04: Wrestled in several open tournaments and a couple of duals, finishing 8-6 with three falls . . . Was runner-up in the 17-20 division of the Nebraska-Omaha Open.

2002-03: Redshirted while wrestling in various open tournaments.

High School: Four-year starter at Western Heights, finishing with 114-11 career record and 54 falls . . . Class 4A state champion and 33-0 as a senior in earning All-State honors . . . Four-year football standout for the Jets, setting a school record for most tackles.

Personal: A safety education major . . . Enjoys hunting as his main hobby . . . Birthdate is Nov. 13, 1983.
