2008:  Put together one of the best seasons in school history, finishing 11-1 with one save and a paltry 2.19 earned run average while striking out 73 and walking just 22 . . . Allowed 84 hits and 33 runs (23 earned) in 94 2/3 innings, with opponents hitting just .239 . . . Lone Star Conference co-Pitcher of the Year and a first-team All-LSC pick after leading the league in ERA . . . Also earned first-team All-South Central Regional honors and second-team All-America recognition by Daktronics, Inc. . . . Was a third-team All-American by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers' Association and a second-team All-South Central Regional selection by the American Baseball Coaches Association . . . Finished in a tie for seventh in NCAA Division II in wins and was 25th in ERA . . . Pitched in 14 games with 13 starts, allowing one hit and one run in 4.0 innings to earn a save in his only relief appearance . . . Threw seven-plus innings in nine contests and had five complete games, with four of those nine-inning outings . . . Tossed a pair of nine-inning shutouts, giving up five hits while fanning five in a 5-0 win over Northeastern State and allowing seven hits with six strikeouts in a 4-0 blanking of Southeastern Oklahoma . . . Also gave up just one run and three hits in a 4-1 nine-inning win over Angelo State . . . Struck out at least five batters in 10 games, with a high of 10 coming in 10-4 nine-inning win over Southwestern Oklahoma . . . Innings pitched (94 2/3) ranked fourth on UCO's single-season list and the wins (11) tied for the fifth best.

Juco:  Two-year starter at NOC-Enid . . . Went 4-8 with a 4.22 ERA as a freshman before finishing 3-4 with a 5.65 ERA as a sophomore . . . Struck out 78 batters in 99 career innings.

High School:  Baseball-football star at McLoud High School.

Personal:  A general studies major . . . Drafted in the 43rd round by the Seattle Mariners in the 2006 draft . . . Birthdate is April 21, 1987.
