Senior standout ready for a second shot at his final season . . . Entered the 2008 campaign as one of the top running backs in the Lone Star Conference, but saw limited action in the season-opener after suffering an off-season back injury and then sat out the rest of the year . . . Earned an injury hardship ruling to regain a year of eligibility and is ready to make the most of his second chance . . . Explosive runner capable of going the distance every time he touches the ball and also makes the tough runs inside . . . Should get plenty of opportunities this fall and is determined to show he’s back to full speed.

2008:  Carried nine times for 29 yards in season-opening loss to Pittsburg State before leaving the game and didn’t play again.

2007:  Came to UCO as a junior college transfer and went on to earn first-team All-LSC North Division honors . . . Rushed for 983 yards and five touchdowns on 193 carries while adding 134 yards on 11 receptions . . . Averaged a solid 5.1 yards a carry and had 30 runs of 10-plus yards, including two of the longest TD runs in school history -- 92 (fifth) against Texas A&M-Commerce and 78 (15) vs. Angelo State . . . Had four 100-yard rushing games, topped by a 198-yard performance against A&M-C . . . Scored on a 13-yard run in overtime in that game as UCO pulled out a 21-20 road win . . . Was LSC North Division Offensive Player of the Week after a 15-carry, 145-yard outing against ASU . . . Also had 100-yard games against East Central (26-113) and Southwestern Oklahoma (21-130) . . . Opened his career with a 19-carry, 90-yard performance in 27-17 upset of Abilene Christian, scoring on a 23-yard scamper.

Juco:  Played two seasons at junior college powerhouse Northeastern Oklahoma A&M . . . Averaged 6.8 yards per carry in 52 career attempts with the Norsemen.

High School:  Oklahoman Little All-City pick and an All-State selection as a senior at Luther High School . . . Also a two-time state champion in the long jump and an All-Conference pick in basketball.

Personal:  A general studies major . . . Enjoys playing the drums as a hobby . . . Younger brother Josh is a freshman running back with the Bronchos . . . Birthdate is Jan. 5, 1987.
