Central Oklahoma head coach Tom Hankins enters his third season in charge of the Bronchos and said he feels strongly that the depth of this year's team is going to pay dividends.

"We're very deep this year and that can make a difference," Hankins said. "Last year, we were just worn out by the end of the season. It's a long season and a tough one, and when it came time for the postseason, we were running out of bodies. I think this year's team is going to be different in that we can feel comfortable playing 10 or more guys."

Hankins led UCO to 17-12 record last season and a trip to Kansas City for the MIAA Tournament quarterfinals. UCO returns seven from last year's squad. The Bronchos have added eight new faces to this year's squad, five of which are junior or senior transfers, plus three freshmen.

Arkansas is led by seventh-year head coach Mike Anderson. The Razorbacks went 26-10 last season, making it to the Southeastern Conference Championship game and the second round of the NCAA Tournament.

The Broncho regular season tips-off Friday, Nov. 10 in Alva, Okla. UCO will play Southeastern and Northwestern as part of the MIAA/GAC Crossover. The Bronchos then play at Oklahoma Christian on Nov. 14 and at Tarleton State Nov. 18 before the 2017-18 home opener scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 21 against Jarvis Christian.
