EDMOND - The University of Central Oklahoma women's tennis team picked up a pair of early signees this month when Paola Lopez and Haley Morgan both signed letters of intent to play at UCO next year.
Lopez is out of the Niagra Tennis Academy in Ontario, Canada but is originally from Los Cabos, Mexico.
Morgan comes from Oklahoma-powerhouse Edmond North. She helped the Huskies win the Class 6A state championship for the third straight season as a junior. She finished second in the state at No. 2 singles and earned a spot on The Oklahoman's All-City tennis team, another accomplishment she's earned three times already.
The Bronchos return to action in January. UCO travels to Las Cruces, N.M. to take on New Mexico State on Saturday, Jan. 14.
