UCO Puts On The Pads

EDMOND (Aug. 16) – Central Oklahoma had its first full-pad workout of the pre-season Friday morning, the results of which left head coach Nick Bobeck less than satisfied.

"It was a little sloppy and not really what we wanted," Bobeck said after the two-hour practice session. "There were some good moments in certain situations, but overall it wasn't what we were looking for and our guys need to realize they have to play with great effort every practice."

The Bronchos will practice twice Saturday for the first and only time of the pre-season and will hold a lengthy intrasquad scrimmage Sunday at 6 p.m.

UCO will take the day off Monday with the start of the fall semester before beginning its regular season practice schedule Tuesday afternoon.

The Bronchos open the season Sept. 5 at Missouri Southern and make their home debut Sept. 14 against Pittsburg State.
