Bronchos Roll Over Lincoln

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (March 23) – Central Oklahoma dropped just eight games in nine matches to steamroll Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association Lincoln 9-0 here Saturday.

The Bronchos improved to 10-2 on the season and 5-2 in the league in bouncing back from Friday's 6-3 loss to conference leader and No. 25-ranked Southwest Baptist.

UCO claimed 8-0 wins in two of the three doubles matches and then recorded five shutouts in singles.

Petra Pesic, Alina Gorina, Laura Klingert, Ilga Racika-Racko and Kristin Richardson all won 6-0, 6-0 singles decisions, while Antonella Rossini prevailed 6-2, 6-3 at No. 1.

The Bronchos wrap up a six-match MIAA road swing next week against Fort Hays State and Nebraska-Kearney.
