SKILLMAN, N.J. (Aug. 1) -- Central Oklahoma has earned a spot on the Intercollegiate Tennis Association All-Academic Team list for the fifth consecutive year, with three student-athletes also selected as ITA Division II Scholar-Athletes.

Teams must have a minimum overall grade point average of 3.2 to be selected as an All-Academic Team, while a GPA of at least 3.5 is required for consideration as a Scholar-Athlete.

Anna Kochigina
Graduated seniors Anna Kochigina and Julia Shviadok along with senior-to-be Anto Rossini were all named as Scholar-Athletes, with Shviadok and Rossini both earning that honor for the third consecutive year.

The Bronchos finished 15-7 this past year in making it to the NCAA Division II national tournament for the fourth time in six years.

"I am very proud of my team's success, not only on the court but also in the classroom,” UCO coach Natalya Nikitina-Helvey said. “It's a tremendous honor for our program and shows you can be not only a great athlete but a great student as well.”
