“Chaney and Taylor really played well today,” head coach Michael Bond said.  “They were both steady all day and came in with two good scores.  It wasn't a bad start, but we're going to have to play better tomorrow against such a strong field.”

Uhles and Neidy are tied for fifth in the individual standings.

The Bronchos also got a 79 from Lindsey Bensch, while Tressa Brumley shot 81 and Mychael McWhorter 85.

Neidy offset an opening bogey on No. 1 with a birdie on the par-5 sixth hole in making the turn at even-par 36 and did the same on the back nine with one bogey and one birdie against seven pars for another 36.

Bensch shot a one-over 37 on the front nine before running into trouble on the back, while Brumley rebounded from a front-nine 42 with a closing 39 to contribute the fourth score.
