UCO Stays 4th In Softball Poll

STARKVILLE, Miss. (April 11) – Central Oklahoma stayed at No. 4 in the weekly Division II National Fastpitch Coaches Association poll that was released Wednesday.

The Bronchos, 33-3 and on a national-best 31-game winning streak, received 343 points in balloting of head coaches from around the country to maintain their best-ever national ranking.

Valdosta State (Ga.) stayed No. 1 in the poll, followed by Indianapolis (Ind.), Winona State (Minn.), UCO and Kutztown (Pa.). Click here for the complete poll.

The Bronchos, who haven't played since sweeping a doubleheader at Fort Hays State last Friday, open a 10-game regular season-ending homestand Friday with a 2 p.m. twinbill against Northeastern State.
