TAHLEQUAH, Okla. (April 10) – Elizabeta Abramovic and Julia Shviadok combined for a crucial doubles win and then both claimed key singles victories to lead No. 26-ranked Central Oklahoma to a tough 5-4 triumph over Northeastern State here Tuesday.

Abramovic and Shviadok claimed an 8-5 win at No. 1 doubles to help the Bronchos to an early 2-1 lead and then earned straight-set singles winners to help UCO claim its fourth straight win and 11th in 12 outings.

Rose Cabato also came up big for UCO, teaming with Anna Kochigina for an 8-1 rout at No. 2 doubles before pulling out a three-set singles win.

"I am so proud of my girls for battling and winning another regional match this afternoon,” head coach Natalya Nikitina-Helvey said. We always have such good, close and tough matches against NSU and today was no exception.  My team laid everything on the court for four hours and we came out with a great win.”

The Bronchos, now 13-5 on the year, wrap up their regular season schedule this weekend, playing at St. Edward's in Austin, Texas Friday before finishing against St. Mary's and Trinity in San Antonio on Saturday.
