Bronchos Roll Over OBU

RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. (March 10) – Central Oklahoma rolled to its third straight win here Saturday morning with a dominating 8-1 rout of Ouachita Baptist.

The No. 42-ranked Bronchos improved to 5-4 on the season and will return to action next Tuesday when they travel to Durant to take on Southeastern Oklahoma.

“We played well and it was a good way to end the road trip,” said UCO coach Natalya Nikitina-Helvey, whose team edged Arkansas Tech 5-4 Friday. “The girls were ready to play and it was a dominating win for us.”

The Bronchos seized control by taking all three doubles matches and finished off the rout by winning five of the six singles bouts.

Elizabeta Abramovic, Julia Shviadok, Anto Rossini, Anna Kochigina and Rose Cabato all won in straight sets, with Abramovic dropping just one game at No. 1.
