UCO Stays Sixth In Wrestling Poll

EDMOND (Feb. 8) – Central Oklahoma stayed at No. 6 in the NCAA Division II wrestling poll that was released Wednesday by the Division II Wrestling Coaches Association.

The Bronchos, 7-5 in duals, received 121 points in balloting of head coaches from around the country.  St. Cloud State was the unanimous No. 1 pick and is followed by Newberry, Upper Iowa, Nebraska-Kearney and Augustana.

UCO has three individuals in the rankings, with Tanner Keck second at 184 pounds, Cory Dauphin fourth at 157 and Kelly Henderson eighth at 174.

The Bronchos travel to Wichita, Kan. Wednesday night for a 7 p.m. dual against Newman and then end their regular season schedule Tuesday with a 2 p.m. home match against Ouachita Baptist.
