KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Feb. 22) – Lone Star Conference North Division champion Central Oklahoma remained No. 7 in the weekly NABC/Division II Coaches' Poll that was released Tuesday.
The Bronchos, who clinched their fourth straight LSC North crown with Monday night's 71-56 win over Northeastern State, earned 143 points in balloting of head coaches from around the country.
UCO, 23-3 on the year, makes its final regular season home appearance Wednesday when it hosts Southwestern Oklahoma at 7 p.m.
Unbeaten West Liberty (W.Va.) remained No. 1 in the rankings, followed by Bellarmine (Ky.), Humboldt State (Calif.), Alabama-Huntsville and Augusta State (Ga.).
LSC South Division champion Tarleton State is the only other conference team in the poll, coming in 20th.
