CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. (July 6) – Central Oklahoma’s Raelynn Farthing has been named to the National Golf Coaches Association All-American Scholar Team for NCAA Division II, it was announced Tuesday.
It’s the second straight year for Farthing to make the elite squad, which requires student-athletes to have a minimum 3.50 grade point average while having competed in at least 66 percent of their team’s schedule.
A senior-to-be from Muskogee, Farthing played in all 10 tournaments for the Bronchos in 2009-10 and finished with an 80.9 scoring average. She had four top-20 finishes, capped by a seventh-place effort in the Lone Star Conference Championships.
Farthing was also an Academic All-LSC selection for the second time this year.
