Green Advances At State Amateur

TULSA (July 12) – Five Central Oklahoma golfers won first-round matches in the Oklahoma Golf Association State Amateur Championship here Monday, with Andrew Green the lone one to advance past the second round.

Baer Aneshansley, Matt Charlson, Dillon Rust, #J.B. Law# and Green all claimed opening-round victories in the 64-man match play tournament at Cedar Ridge Country Club, while Chris Muriana lost his first-round bout.

Green came back in the afternoon to beat Aneshansley and advance to Tuesday's quarterfinals, with Charlson, Rust and Law also fallilng in the second round. Green, a junior-to-be from Edmond, will take on Garrett Moore in one of eight quarterfinal matches.
