Niles, Davis Top Bronchos

NORMAN, Okla. (April 24) – Sarah Niles and Brittany Davis finished 3-4 in the heptahlon to lead Central Oklahoma in the Sooner Invitational here Saturday.

Niles compiled 3,165 points in the seven events, while Davis finished with 3,010.

Angel Vick finished 13th in the 1,500-meter run in 5:03.04, Alina Istrate came in 16th in the 800-meter dash in 2:25.26 and Edna Spencer placed17th in the long jump with a 5.05-meter effort as UCO's other top finishers.

The Bronchos don't return to action until going to San Angelo, Texas May 7-8 for the Lone Star Conference Championships.
