Abramovic, Shviadok Earn All-LSC Honors

RICHARDSON, Texas (April 22) – Central Oklahoma’s Julia Shviadok and Eli Abramovic have been named to All-Lone Star Conference team in a vote of league coaches, it was announced Thursday by the league office.
Shviadok was an All-LSC selection in both singles and doubles for the second consecutive year, while Abramovic was a doubles pick for the second straight season.
A sophomore from Brest, Belarus, Shviadok has a 12-6 record at No. 1 singles and has joined with Abramovic -- a sophomore from Zagreb, Croatia – to go 13-6 in doubles.
The twosome has led the Bronchos to a 14-5 record and No. 24 ranking in NCAA Division II.
Shviadok, an actuarial science major, was also named to the Academic All-LSC Team. Lacy Caldwell, a junior forensic science major, was named to the LSC Commissioner's Honor Roll.
UCO will host the Lone Star Conference Men’s and Women’s Tennis Championships Friday and Saturday at the Oklahoma City Tennis Center, with the Bronchos taking on Cameron at 9:30 a.m. Friday in the first round.
