KANSAS CITY, Mo. (March 22) – The parade of post-season accolades continued for Dauntae Williams Monday when the Central Oklahoma standout was named to the 2010 State Farm Division II All-America Team by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC).

The team was voted on by member coaches of the NABC, with 16 players from around the country selected for the All-America team.

Williams, who becomes UCO's 20th All-American, was the only player from the Lone Star Conference on the elite team.

A junior guard from Missouri City, Texas, Williams put together dominating season in 2009-10 in leading the Bronchos to a 22-7 record and their third straight NCAA Division II playoff appearance.

He averaged 19.9 points, 7.8 rebounds, 5.4 assists and 2.4 steals a game while shooting 56.9 percent from the field, 38.5 percent from 3-point range and 71.8 percent from the line.

Williams was selected LSC North Division Player of the Week seven times, claiming the defensive award four times and the offensive honor three times.   He finished fifth in steals (71), sixth in assists (158) and 13th in points (576) on UCO's single-season lists and had two triple-doubles during the season, the first for the Bronchos since 1991.

Williams was selected as the Lone Star Conference North Division Player of the Year before being named to the Daktronics and NABC All-South Central Region teams.

UCO won its third straight LSC North Division title and put together a school-record 16-game winning streak during the season.
