EDMOND, Okla. (Feb. 3) -- Central Oklahoma head coach Tracy Holland has announced the signing of 17 high school standouts to national letters of intent.

UCO added seven players on defense and 10 on offense, with 13 recruits coming from Oklahoma and three from Texas.  The Bronchos also brought in one transfer at the semester break, with wide receiver Artrell Woods coming from Oklahoma State.

“This is an extremely athletic class across the board,” said Holland, in his third year at the UCO helm.  “Not only is it a very talented group of players, but they are all leaders.  We  were very selective with this group and went after student-athletes with character and great work ethic and we’re excited about this class.

“It was all about finding the best football players and we felt we did that.”
