KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Dec. 7) – Central Oklahoma fell seven spots in the NABC/Division II Coaches' Poll Tuesday after the Bronchos suffered their first loss of the season last week.
UCO dropped a 75-73 decision at Incarnate Word last Saturday before bouncing back two days later to beat Texas A&M-Kingsville 79-66 and tumbled from No. 8 to 15th in the newest rankings. The Bronchos, now 8-1 on the year, return to action Saturday when they host Angelo State at 4 p.m.
Bellarmine (Ky.) took over the top spot in the poll after defending national champion Cal Poly Pomona lost two games and tumbled to 16th. Findlay (Ohio) is second in the poll, followed by Winona State (Minn.) and West Liberty (W.Va.).
Tarleton State is the only other Lone Star Conference team in the rankings, coming in at No. 13.
