RICHMOND, Va. (June 8) -- Former Central Oklahoma All-American Carmen Davis is playing for the Richmond Kickers Destiny in the United States Soccer League this summer.
Davis is the first former UCO player to compete in the professional ranks, with the Destiny 2-2-1 in the early part of their season that runs until mid-July.
A three-year starter at forward for the Bronchos from 2005-07, Davis was the Lone Star Conference Offensive Player of the Year and a second-team All-American as a senior in 2007. She helped lead UCO to a 19-5-1 record, a fourth straight LSC title and the Sweet 16 in the NCAA Division II national tournament her final season.
