Broncho Softball Opens At Home

EDMOND – A three-game home series will open the 2010 Central Oklahoma softball season and will mark the only home games of the first month for the Bronchos.

UCO is set to host Missouri Western for a doubleheader on Feb. 5 and a single game on Feb. 7 and then goes on the road for three consecutive tournaments.

The Bronchos then open Lone Star Conference North Division play at Northeastern State on March 9 before returning home to host the RiverHawks for a doubleheader on March 13.

UCO will have 19 home games this spring, including 12 LSC North Division contests.

The Bronchos of 13th-year head coach Genny Stidham return nine players from last year's 26-15 team that was runner-up in the LSC North Division.
