Cazenave hit 6-of-8 shots with three 3-pointers and 3-of-4 free throws in his 18-point outing while tying a career-high with six steals -- moving into fifth place on the school's all-time list in the process -- and dishing out three assists.  Phillips also had three treys, was 7-of-8 from the free throw line and added five rebounds and three steals.

UCO also got 15 points, a game-high nine rebounds and five steals from Dauntae Williams, while Brent Friday and Chris Rhymes had 11 points each and Shane Carroll 10.

"We got off to a slow start and didn't play very well most of the first half," UCO coach Terry Evans said.  "We did a good job at the end of the half to get the lead and then did a lot of good things in the second half."

The Bronchos trailed the first 10 minutes of the opening half before taking a seven-point (45-38) lead at intermission and UCO shot 55.6 percent (15-of-27) from the field and 77.3 percent (17-of-22) from the line in the final 20 minutes to steadily pull away.

Missouri S&T jumped out to a 9-2 lead just two minutes into the contest, but the Bronchos used an 11-2 run to take the lead at 13-11 on a Cazenave 3-pointer at the 15:09 mark.

It was back-and-forth the next nine minutes and was tied at 31-31 when UCO went in front to stay on a Phillips trey with 6:22 left in the half en route to its 45-38 halftime lead.

The Miners were within four (48-44) in the opening minutes of the second half, but a Friday 3-poiner ignited an 11-0 spurt that pushed UCO's lead to 15 at 59-44 with 15:37 left to play and the Bronchos were in control the rest of the way.
