KANSAS CITY, Kan. (Dec. 14) – Alli Miller added to her impressive post-season resume Monday when the Central Oklahoma star was named a second-team All-American by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.
A senior fullback from Norman, Miller earned a host of honors this year, both athletically and academically.
She was a first-team All-Lone Star Conference pick for the fourth straight year – winning league Defensive Player of the Year accolades for the second consecutive season -- and was a first-team All-South Central Region selection by both the NSCAA and Daktronics, Inc., gaining third-team All-America recognition from Daktronics.
Miller also earned Academic All-LSC honors for the third time and was a first-team selection on the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District VI Women's Soccer Team.
UCO went 14-6-3 in 2009, winning the LSC Tournament championship and qualifying for the Division II national tournament for the seventh time in 10 years.
