Miller Named All-Region

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (Nov. 17) – Central Oklahoma's Alli Miller has been named a first-team selection on the Daktronics, Inc. All-South Central Region Team, it was announced Tuesday.

The senior fullback from Norman was one of 13 players selected for first-team honors in voting of sports information directors from schools in the South Central Region that includes the Lone Star Conference, the Heartland Conference and the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association.

First-team members from each of the eight all-region teams now go on the ballot for All-America consideration.

Miller played in every game (92) with 89 starts during her stellar UCO career and was a four-time first-team All-LSC selection, collecting league Defensive Player of the Year recognition the last two years. She also earned first-team All-South Central Region accolades last year.

Miller spearheaded a defensive unit this fall that recorded 13 shutouts and allowed 20 goals in a 14-6-3 season as the Bronchos won the LSC Tournament and advanced to the Division II national tournament for the seventh time in 10 years.
