Katy Kashwer had three assists to spark a dominating second-half effort that got Central Oklahoma back on the winning track here Sunday with a 4-1 Lone Star Conference rout of Eastern New Mexico.

The Bronchos, who had an eight-game winning streak snapped Friday with a 1-0 double-overtime loss at West Texas A&M, used a three-goal volley in the final 45 minutes to break away from a 1-1 halftime tie in improving to 9-4-1 on the year and 3-1 in the league.  ENMU fell to 7-5 and 2-1.

"We were a little sluggish to start the game, but really picked things up and played very well in the second half," UCO coach Mike Cook said.  "We dominated both sides of the field in the second half and got out of here with a good win."

The Bronchos outshot ENMU 18-7, including an 11-2 edge in the final half.

UCO took a 1-0 lead in the 21st minute when Katelyn Cropp scored her fourth goal of the season off an assist from Summer Grantham, with the Zias coming back to tie it at the 39:22 mark.

Kashwer assisted on all three UCO goals in the second half, starting with a pass to Shayna Kindsvater in the 51st minute that put the Bronchos in front to stay.  Grantham made it 3-1 at 56:57 and Nathalie Bernigaud completed the scoring in the 64th minute.

Megan Riley went the distance between the posts, giving up one goal while making one save.

UCO returns home to host a pair of league foes this week, taking on Angelo State at 4 p.m. Friday and Abilene Christian at 1 p.m. Sunday.
